The MK K4015 is a 6A photocell with a PIR sensor. It has a white finish and is suitable for flush mounting in to the ceiling.

K4015 – Superior PIR with Photocell – Slim Flush

The K4015 is a high performance presence detector with photocell. The photocell can be programmed to hold
lights when areas become occupied (if the daylight contribution is sufficiently high) and to switch lights in
occupied areas as the daylight contribution falls (Active mode). By factory-default the photocell is set to Passive
mode – it will not turn lights OFF when an area is occupied regardless of natural light levels.
The K4015 is suitable for flush mounting in a suspended ceiling tile, maximum 54mm thick and with a minimum
clearance of 125mm between the front surface of the tile and the hard ceiling behind. The K4015 should be
mounted in the centre of the group of luminaires to be controlled. Cut a 50mm diameter (64mm if using an
K4055 flush ring or K4054 plasterboard fixing kit) circular hole in the tile, feed the flying lead and detector through

The K4015 is supplied with a flying lead which should be taken into the first luminaire on the circuit to be
controlled, from where it will pick up its 230V supply. Control of a group of luminaires is achieved by connecting all
the luminaires in the group (typically 4) in parallel with the switched live output of the K4015.
The factory default settings will be appropriate for most applications. However, the installer does have the facility
to re-programme a wide range of parameters using the infrared programming tool, K4053. Please read carefully
the operating instructions that accompany the K4053 prior to performing a programming operation.
